Data processed by Renfe Viajeros

As part of the contractual relationship established between the CUSTOMER and Renfe Viajeros, the following categories of personal data will be processed:

• Identification and contact data (including postal and/or e-mail addresses).
• Sociodemographic data (such as age, family status and/or places of residences).

The CUSTOMER must keep their data duly updated to ensure that the data processed is truthful at all times. The CUSTOMER will communicate any change to ensure Renfe Viajeros is aware of their current situation.

Purpose of the processing of the personal data processed by Renfe Viajeros

1. Managing the purchase and contracting of Tourist Train products offered by Renfe Viajeros.

2. Communicating the CUSTOMER's data to Renfe Group companies, partner companies and/or companies owned by Renfe Viajeros for the purpose of sending commercial information.

3. Sending commercial communications from both Renfe Viajeros and its partner companies.

Pursuant to the purposes indicated above, the CUSTOMER's data shall be kept for the periods indicated in the applicable legislation depending on the processing performed or, where appropriate, until the CUSTOMER asks for their data to be deleted or expresses their opposition to said processing.

Legal basis for the processing of the CUSTOMER's personal data

• To manage the contractual relationship established between the CUSTOMER and Renfe Viajeros.
• To pursue the purposes for which the CUSTOMER's consent has been requested, described above.  

Obtaining the CUSTOMER's personal data  

The CUSTOMER's personal data processed by Renfe Viajeros will be obtained directly from the CUSTOMER.

Recipients of the CUSTOMER's data

1. Renfe Group companies for the following purposes:

• Performing commercial actions in relation to Renfe Viajeros products and services.
• Complying with the corresponding legal obligations.

2. Partner companies and/or companies owned by Renfe Viajeros, for the following reasons:

• Performing both general and customised commercial actions in relation to products and services.
• Arranging the products and/or services offered by these companies.

3. Renfe Viajeros also collaborates with a number of third-party service providers who have access to the CUSTOMER's personal data and who process this data in the name of and on behalf of Renfe Viajeros as part of the provision of its services.

Rights of the CUSTOMER

The CUSTOMER may exercise their rights of access, rectification, deletion of data, opposition, limitation of processing and data portability by sending an e-mail to the Legal Department of Renfe Viajeros at derechos.viajeros@renfe.es or by post to Renfe Viajeros Sociedad Mercantil Estatal S.A. Avenida Ciudad de Barcelona, 8-1ª Planta – 28007 Madrid.

The CUSTOMER will be required to provide a copy of their ID card or official document accrediting their identity.

If the CUSTOMER considers that Renfe Viajeros has not processed their personal data in line with the regulations, they may contact the Data Protection Officer via e-mail at dpd@renfe.es. They may also file a complaint before the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

The CUSTOMER can easily change or supress our use of their data, as well as revoking the consent given by the CUSTOMER by sending an e-mail to derechos.viajeros@renfe.es
